Well, it's a tough one... put simply it's not "worth" the time or money. I prob spent 1-2 days stripping the frame myself to save £30. I'm not sure of other industries wages but I can't imagine any being less than £30 a day, or even £15... but I really enjoyed it. Painting wise, £200 a respray sounded a lot until I did it myself, with care, it prob took me a week in total, spraying, sanding, spraying, sanding, missing bits, sanding, spraying, but again, it was really fun and a great change from desk work. I could of thrown a couple of days pay at it and had it far better than I have made it, but would it of meant as much? Prob not.

Paint: 1x Prime, 3x Paint, 1X Clear coat - £35
