  • Mine gone today, done less than a 1000 miles since april.
Still pretty happy with them and probably will get another pair.

  • Yeah they are shit. Had mine since the launch of commuter stuff kicked off in London. Stitches inside from the back pockets rubbed through, as they are in the contact with a saddle all the time. Poor design. Had my swrves for a lot longer and they still going strong.

  • mine look different to these, got mine directly from the US

theyre going strong with no signs of wear at all after 2 months, theyre also baggier than the ones posted in here

  • Shiiiite product from people that do not give a flying fig about about cycling, otherwise why did it take so long to enter the arena??

  • I had three pairs of these, wore two almost consistently since November and they were still fine when I left the UK.

Anyone who wears them through must have a new type of nut/butt crack sweat that rots denim.

  • What are people's opinions on these now after a decent amount of time with them? How's the waterproofness holding up?

  • Get Swrve.

  • I'd like waterproofness.

  • Certainly not waterproof at all after 6 months if its spitting they're fine as it doesn't soak through but if its raining properly they get wet as any other jeans would

  • Jean is never a great material to start with if you want waterproof, either normal trouser like the WWR one or deal with the jean.

  • What I do like about the Levi's is that they dry relatively quickly

  • Ah, I wasn't aware of the Swrve trousers. I'd think I'd be happy with them! Cheers Ed.

  • If anyone is interested I have a pair that I've never worn as I'm just too much of a fatty, 34 waist if I remember correctly

  • the colour ran on mine in the first rain. butt instantly became several shades lighter. and pilling. but since that first ride they haven't deteriorated further. although I now only wear them at home.

  • i wear mine daily and like them

  • just a note, no jeans/ cotton trousers are ever going to be waterproof, water resistant yes, waterproof no.
and despite what Ed says the Swrve WWR's aren't waterproof either, they are labelled as Water Wind Resistant.

If you want waterproof, the seams will have to be taped and the way the material is bonded will mean you'll be sweating internally anyway, as thats how alot of waterproof materials work, in that its about the temperature differential between interior and exterior.

    tl:dr
no jean is ever going to be waterproof, even the Swrve WWR's

How much would you be looking for?

Dom, see dimi's and my posts at the top of the page. They're shit.
Waterproofness was gone after few washes. Mine got about 10 inch rip on crotch. Holes started to appear on a bum from extra layers underneath, what meant too be rear pocket reinforcement, but it could be (unlikely) the Concor saddles Dimi and I use .
    Not worth £80.
Also it's two months now as I'm waiting for replacement. Should have got a refund.

My pair didn't last 6 months at all.

  • I got two pairs and they were still doing just fine after just over a year of use.

I don't really have the need to wear them now though.

  • I got first pair which are going strong. Liked them so much bought a second pair. Both the black ones with the flap pocket (ie not denim), they were in the sale at half price so even better! Annoyingly as its Levi's they've stopped making this style and only have dark grey without the useful little extra pocket.

  • How much would you be looking for?

    dunno, £60ish?

  • sale?

  • If anyone happens to stumble across somewhere in the UK that has the black cargo commuter trousers in stock, hit a brother up.
