I can't see how it could be a bad frame with those lugs, and I feel like it might be something reeeeallly nice under the housepaint. What do you reckon? Worth a £45 punt?
If it is 53cm like she says then it's too small for me, but the headtube doesn't look like a 53cm to me.EDIT: I saw a Raleigh Royal (similar amount of braze ons) fixie conversion complete with Canti bosses and just a front brake on a train once. I was sick in my mouth.
2nd Edit: wraparound stays, can't be bad...

It's weird how they managed to make a frame that looks heavy.

• #44931
and like it was designed by Dali

This old heavyweight might be good for a path racer style/Governer style build, do people still do tweed run? This would be ideal, it's got track ends but is an old roadster frame. It's a £5 start and has no bidders...

http://i.imgur.com/K4raR.jpgdefo worth a punt, I recon its a 23" frame, and at a guess a Holdsworth or Butler. Might be worth trying to get the house paint off and see it the original is under there in all its glory ;-)
some one will be along to correct me soon.

Yeah, bought it and will see. Here's hoping they've just painted over the original.
There's nothing on the dropouts, and the paint on the BB is too thick to make anything out. I'll find out when it arrives, I guess!
I'm hoping it's not a 23", looked a bit smaller than that to me but you might be right. -
