Overtaking is what you should have done, or stayed further back so that when he pulled back in he wasn't on a collision course with you. Anyway, I'm not bothered by what you did, but what you wrote sounds like undertaking, which is why that was said to you, which is what the over-reaction was to. S'all in the past now anyway, forgive and forget eh?
