  • Wes Mason bike.

Frame: Wes Mason 531 Reynolds. Wes Mason was a former professional rider in the 1960s, was one of the founders of the famous "MKM" brand. He produced his own line of frames from about the year 1974 until about 1995. This frame is from 1983 and being nearly 20yrs old it does have some marks and scrapes but no dents. Its a good quality frame and has campag dropouts. It does have a very small crack coming from one of the bottle screws but has never got bigger since I have owned it. I have had it looked at by Chas Roberts and he said he wasn't sure if it was just a crack in the paint but he would sort it by putting a star shape water bottle boss in and it would cost £15. He said he would need it for a week and with it being my everyday commuter I haven't had a chance to take it in. I have decided to buy something boring with mudguard etc to commute on so that why its up for sale.

    Some spec.
