I also work with a guy that logs his sub 5 mile commutes with his Garmin.
WTF dude, turning it on probably takes you longer than the ride itself!
It of course sits in his jacket pocket/bag bleeping away (why is it the most annoying bleep in the world?) for ages after he arrives at work.
