Got the frame in the post and was in ok nick. But had a few problems, firstly the stem was seized which ended up with me hacksawing it out
Next thing to get out was the bottom bracket. but that was siezed too, so ended up with me hacksawing out the bottom bracket
Trying to get the other shell of the bottom bracket I manage to tear the driveside chainstay. with the edge of the vice.
it kinda put a damner on the project while I looked at finding somewhere to get it fixed. Having a look around I heard about oak cycles which is only a 5min cycle from my work which was perfect.
I went done and met with Ryan, he has a stash of old 531 which was perfect. and did an amazing job on getting it to tie in with the look and feel of the existing framework
Ive nearly got all the components for the build so will do another post with all the bits
