Looks like a fun build with a good story behind that frame... does the cunt sticker not advertise the shop well enough?
Yellow would look nice, as you have brown tape and saddle green would look classic and dark blue looks beaut with nice silver components -

looks like an interesting build pal..

where do you recomend to go for powdercoating?? -

I think I've decided to go with Racing Green as the frame colour, get some cream paint and line the lugs once it's done to match the white hoods/cable outer, get the lettering done in cream too I reckon.
Chicago Powder coaters is the one I use, really good guys down there and they know what they're doing!

thats great to hear, just had an awesome qoute from them, just need to pic a colour myself
good luck with it.
A while ago I finally plucked up the courage to do something unheard of, and actually tidied the basement at work. It's flooded, mouldy and I'm entirely sure there's a body down there but I found a frame down there.
After a bit of asking I found out that it was one of the first frames that my old boss at the bike shop had made and it was pretty much spot on in terms of size for me. I bastardised it into a conversion for a while but I've decided it's about high time that it gets what it deserves, gears.
This is the frame, planning to get it down to the powder coaters on Wednesday... still stuck on colour, perhaps yellow? Going to get some decals done up in a vintage racer style but with the name of the shop on, got to have a team sponsor after all.
Today I popped down into the dark depths and picked some bits up too.
Took the Brooks off my tourer, got some Weinmann brakes, Campag chainset, Shimano 600 shifters and rear mech and a Gipiemme front mech.
Also got some steel Sakae bars and stem, using the brown bar tape I got for Christmas and Brook's bar ends, also snaffled some campag levers from the spares box.
Finally, using some wheels I built up a while ago, Maillard hubs and a Sachs-Huret 7 speed block we had in the basement.
Still on the lookout for a seatpost, headset and pedals with toe-straps. Hoping to get down to the cycle jumble and see if they've got anything tasty there.
