I am a hefty 95 kilos and will be using these for my commute/wet day rides.

Better how? You won't build a faster wheel for any sensible amount of money, but you can definitely build a better commuting wheel for under £200, say Rigida Zac19 on Ambrosio Zenith hubs with ACI db spokes should be around £150
