There's been an accident on Rectory Road near the intersection with Evering Road. Street is closed to traffic, my housemate who went through earlier thought he saw a bike on the ground. Here's hoping everything's ok.

Just been through the intersection. Still closed. Complete traffic nightmare all around. No details to add except to say that a shopkeeper said that it happened a couple of hours ago which makes me gloomy.

Hope the rider is ok.

One of the coppers at the scene has told me that the cyclist ran a red light and was hit head on by a car. Apparently he's ok. - "just a bruised ego 'cause he had no helmet..." Rectory road is one long bus jam.
