Thing is I love the big ring, but every now and then it's nice to step it down for a cruise.
Plus the transition into 90+ GI is a lot friendlier on the knees.
There is a lag on the hub, so it feels weird when using for the first time. (ie not instant resistance, like a slack chain)
Really it should be fitted to a tourer with a rear brake, but it has been fine for a few years now.
Definitely a grower to the point I'm not sure I would want to revert.
Going down hill in 58 GI resistance spinning is ace. Whirs like a mf.
