  • Sad to say, but no. You should find a way to accomodate either 53/39 or 50/34 combo IMO ;-)

  • I've got a 130bcd spider with 53/39 rings, and a 110bcd spider that could go on there.

However a) SRM are not cheap, so it would seem a little profligate to have both a 110bcd and a 130, and b) in a way, 52/36 IS having both.

  • Plus, final thought, my 50/34 MK-V rings bent like fuck.

I like the no-nuts thing though.

  • Such is life...

  • I like the no-nuts thing though.

That's a rather extreme way to lose weight :-/

  • A crank like hollowgram only deserves best ;-)

Stick a 7900 ring on it then :p

worked for Armstrong, he did not dope but just took weiner weenieism to its logical conclusion.

  • If you cannot wait for the Tornova, the Pro Vibe 7S Round seemed to be a similar shape;

  • Porn. White on white looks great.
    Need some CT2 rings.

Was at a SRM dealer yesterday, you'd have loved the place mate. SRM stuff everywhere!

  • I almost had a fairly serious sense of humour failure getting the chainring bolts out.

Ended up with the allen key clamped in my worktable, chainset on top, outside face down so the allen key inserted in the bolt, then using all my body weight to hold the chain-bolt-nut screwdriver thing into the grooves so it didn't skip out, using an adjustable spanner to turn the blade of the screwdriver to back the nut out.

Got it out, straight in the bin.

SRAM chainring bolts ordered that use an allen key on both sides.

  • How much you selling the wheels for and what cassette is on there?

  • The cassette would not be included with the wheels (currently it is a Dura Ace 7900 11-25).

    I'll PM you.

  • Sorry Oswald:

  • Id give you 700 of the seven :)

  • You got some firecrest 404's then?! Blah .. Do not let us mistake evil for good ;) Seriously though, they look very nice .. for a Zipp!!

  • Firecrest 404's with Veloflex Carbon tubs.

Need to go and get them tomorrow.

  • Drool.

  • Veloflex carbon too! Very nice purchase :)

  • Zipp Ti skewers, bit heavy so I'll continue using my carbon/Ti ones.

  • Sell me those?

  • These new wheels came boxed, with all manuals, receipts etc and of course the skewers.

I'm going to keep everything as is, so if/when I sell these it's all ready and together.

  • Keep the Zipp skewers, there are many a few grams lighter but the Zipps are solidly made. Remember that they're all that is between you and a road/you encounter!

  • when I sell these

    Actual dibs.

Fair enough, just got some cheap skewers that's lighter and prettier at 45g.
