The anodised blue spacers should simlply pull off of either side exposing the axle snd bearings.
Using a rubber mallet/bit of wood so you don't damage It, knock the axle out from one end (I'd knock it towards the non threaded side to make life slightly easier later on). It'll take one bearing with it leaving other in the hub shell.
The bearings must be the same so slide the one that's on the axle off, put axle in the hub the right way round, put the bearing in place and use a socket the same size as the outer race of the bearing to tap it home (this is where knocking the axle out as described above makes life easier as you won't have to find a deep socket to fit over the long end of the axle).
Re install the blue spacer collars and enjoy.

Mmm that's what I thought but they seem stuck fast, maybe time to bring a vice into action.

Is the hole through the centre of the axle round or hex shaped? Might screw off or something but I'm sure they just pull.
I have a front Hope and the collars were pretty stiff actually.Go carefully or you'll chew things up.

Round hole, I actually have another set of these built into CXP33s (pic below) it's coming back to me now that I could even push the axle through slightly by hand.
This is how it would look the right way round.

how is that hub the wrong way round?

It should have more axles showing on the drive side to enable room for a cassette.
Least this is what I got.

Yep, looks like they put the body on the other side to run it SS. Which makes the spoke angle a bit strange.

Take a look at the first photo then compare it to the one in the bike, you'll notice the threaded part is on the other side to the long part of the axle.

Isn't that I said?

90s hope hubs were bomb proof (unless it was a disc version and it became 'unbonded' and your wheel sprung apart), I have a pair of 100/135mm Ti glides that I'm going to respace for road use, 15 years old but still original bearings and still light enough for a decent road wheel build.
What other hope hubs do you have? I just like them :)
Should be able to just push the axle to the right place with a vice/ bearing press, then refit the spaces which usually just have an O ring locating them onto the axle (might have to remove & flip the axle)

I don't see that working. The axle has shoulders for the bearing to sit against.

Yeah I just like them too, I have pictured below (from what I'm told) a front 'suspension' hub, an mtb hub and an early 'glide' 130mm OLN. They're both 32 hole, the front has never been built up and the rear is in very good nick. I was going to have them built up for a road bike but went with some modern Novatech hubs instead. If you're interested in buying them PM me as they're probably not going to be used now and they really deserve to be.
I recently bought this hub from an ebay seller without noticing the freewheel thread is on the non drive side! I can only assume the owner reversed the axle for some reason (possibly to use with a single speed freewheel?). Anyway I haven't a clue how to dis-assemble the hub to set it right, any advice or info welcome please.
As it goes the project it was intended for has been ditched so I would sell the hub for what I paid if any interest, its a 24hole. I have a 32hole version of the same hubs built into CXP33s with Sapim race spokes and they are great hubs. I have one or two other old hope hubs I'd part with too if any interest.
