Yes for one night, it's beautiful and utopian, it's also expensive but no worse than Paris for example.

Not the expert on the topic, but lived there for couple years so maybe i can give some info. Overall, Finland is somewhat pricey country and sleeping in Hki might be expensive, depending of what you want. Cheapest of course being couch surfing / hostels, but if you want good quality single rooms in the middle of the city, i've liked http://www.omenahotels.com/. As far as nightlife goes, theres usually something for everyone. Many bike shops have rental bikes, but i think this is the most popular one: http://www.greenbike.fi/vuokraus_en.html
As for prices, your basic pizza/kebab/cheap chinese being about 5-10 euros, restaurants can be anywhere from 15-100e, again depends what you like. Cheap beer from 3-6 euros, better / foreign ones more.
If you want to have real "finnish" experience, i'd recommend to take the tram to sörnäinen, you'll find the cheapest pubs and most drunk people there ;)
Has anyone here been to Helsinki? Or does anyone live there?
I plan to go in the summer. Any advice on where to stay, nightlife, bike rental etc?
Is it an expensive place to eat/drink?
