Once upon a time, after several years of furtive (some times hilarious) attempts to woo me, a university friend finally revealed his true, and it would seem, very deep feelings of love for me. I tried to deny it, laugh it off, convince him otherwise and then I suggested he join My Single Friend for which I'd write him a reference.
Long story short - he met a wealthy lawyer who'd read his profile and they married the following summer. Result!
