We could always make a law that if a crossing is within 50m then not using it is against the law.
A jaywalking law for whenever facilities exist to accommodate safe crossing.
Lemmings are an issue for car drivers too. And as Londoners we're all masters of crossing the road in busy traffic and missing the back of a passing car by inches. You've no idea how much that scares the drivers.
Wouldn't that be analogous to being forced to use a cycle lane if there is one? Would you agree with that law?
