  • Chris King hub service tool

It is about time that I completely stripped down my hubs. Once I have practiced on my 2 sets I will be willing to service other peoples.

That's about £170 quids worth of kit James...!
    good stuff!

I got a pair of R45 road hubs for my 30th so will defo be PM'ing you in the future.

  • AAAaaawwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaah.

    Top marks that man!

Bit excessive for keeping your jazz mags in though.

  • ^ Get rid of that water waster in the corner and you can fit a nice little workbench.

  • Very nice James!

  • Sadly the r45 needs a different service tool.

    Chris King fail?

  • Just a new design of hub. Thankfully my road and Mtb hubs both need the same tool.

  • It is nice looking and even a tool of that price will probably pay for itself after a few years.

Why did you put your bottle of ring lube in the photo though?

What are your CK road hubs James...?

  • Imported.

    Where from and how much?

  • I have the classic CK road hubs

  • Took my own pics. But they where shite.

Keywin CRM Ti pedals with a short (-3mm from standard) axle.

Crazy light, and give perfect crank clearance in the -3 axle length. Not pretty on the bike though.

  • ...also a insulated camelbak for winter running/ snowbiking.

  • Spoilt cnut^

  • So, I only got the Maxi one recently (thanks rr4m for excellent customer services), but I love my LedusWheelus in-wheel lights. So looking forward to mounting them back on the bike tonight.

The small one is going into the front wheel, the large one into the rear.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CICLISMO-SCARPA-SIDI-MTB-DRAKO-CARBON-SRS-BIANCO-SIDI-MTB-SHOES-DRAKO-CARBON-/150973313433

£250 with no import taxes because it's from within the EU. 10 days from payment to delivery as they had to order the size 48 from the SIDI warehouse. Shipped FedEx. All sizes available. They're £337 in the UK from Wiggle and SIDI Cafe.

Royles have some Dragon 3's going for £186, but only in red. Figure the Drako was worth the extra cash. Had to replace my old Dominators which I bought second-hand ages ago. Also white is just pimp as hell. To go with these gloves - Giro LX LF (eBay £35 new).

I've tried these before, pretty cool

Cleats were really easy to get just right.

Dont fancey taking the flash bike out before I'm sure I can unclip though. Took me ages to get a shoe off the pedal after I'd done my clearance checks.

I'm not convinced the massive contact area will have much of an effect. I'm running mad stiff Bonts. But the float being in the pedal and not the pedal cleat interface does feel 'better'.

  • ^^^ dotbike.com doing those leather Giro gloves (and the mitts as well) also at £35. They are very nice for the money.

  • Pretty much all my post-Christmas Christmas presents came in one go today today :)

^ silca track pump to replace my joe blow which is still working well and being handed down to my dad... who's little pocket one previously handed down by me is to be passed on to my girl friend. #circleoflife
