Read your first post and all. I'm a newbie too, so I can see where you're coming from. Being a complete cunt is perfectly acceptable, but do yourself a favour and leave something for the imagination please.

  • I forget his name, Matt? Maybe? He has a fantastic beard and rides a black felt track with sugino 75s. Absolutely pelting it down holborn.

  • Overtaken by arvy on my way home this evening - I think he could smell the Discovery awaiting at The Flask.

  • I saw you there again about 15 mins ago but was too tired to think of anything to shout except "oi cunt" and just about awake enough to not do that.

    I'm doing the bridges ride

getting booze on the way to a grown up dinner party with the gf aha

  • Saw a tall looking fella with forum cap under lid on a lovely old grey Harry Quinn this morning, heading north over Southwark Bridge amongst the noddergeddon.

Talking of which, if the bloke on a new looking SS Charge Plug with Bern helmet and 80's soccer red shorts and tube socks is on here, please find something other than your old school gym kit to cycle in. My. Eyes.

  • Ha! Think I saw him going home past the Roebuck, last night. Alarming.

  • 80's soccer red shorts and tube socks

    old school gym kit

I, for one, am all about this look

  • Rode down Camden Road (from the junction of York Way) at around 8:40 this morning, with a guy and possibly friend/ladyfriend, through Regent's Park until Devonshire Street. Black frame & bullhorns, and a dark green frame & risers (?)

On here? I feel like I've seen you on that route before...

That would be me and Markypoos! Hello! We normaly ride via Kentish Town/Camden but recent road works makes it rather difficult. Camden Road is a good work out though so I think this will stay as our commute for a while.
Are you the guy in lots of Waffa and white frame?

  • I think i spotted the golden locks of 3citbendix this morning going pass the BoE at 8:45

  • Ha! Think I saw him going home past the Roebuck, last night. Alarming.

The fluro HUMP action really finishes off the look.

  • I got a quizzical, not quite sure nod from a chap wearing a Panda's cap flying down New North Road about 8.15 this morning, greyish frame I think..... misty specs ruined my actual spotting eyes, hiding under my Brooklyn-cap-under-lid look......

  • Bloke riding fixed, wearing a cap with mainly black kit on Mortlake High Street this morning juset before 9.

I was just getting on my bike as you wizzed by. I tried to catch you up as your rear light was amazing but you turned right as I went left. The light seemed to be attached/part of your hub and made it look like your tyre was glowing. Hello and what was it?

    .

Morning, that would have been me on the route into work. Least favourite part of the ride with all the nodders. Yesterday some lady was undertaking a left turning lorry there which was scary to watch.

And thanks for the tall comment, if you can add slim and goodlooking* too then £20 is in the post

    • neither being true

    this guy sounds fuckin awesome

That was indeed me. Hello! I start at the top there so it's all downhill for me... Camden Road can be a bit tricky to navigate sometimes (especially with the roadworks/junctions towards the bottom) but generally it's pretty good.

  • Burny on the tube before! Peasure to meet you sir!

  • Saw a bearded chap, head to toe in Rapha on a ti fixed bike in Richmond Park around 2.45 today, I was similarly attired, bearded and also on a ti fixie skid bike going the other way. Also got overtaken by another fixie skidder on a white framed bike. Was just back from riding to Windsor, so a little tired.

  • oh god, they're breeding.

  • Chiswick

Head to toe in Rapha, titanium bike, rides like a god, called James.

I was not looking at my reflection, great to see PurpleMJ out in civilisation.

Was almost like this all over again, but not sure the rider shared the same name as me.

Saw this lad this morning North side of Blackfriars bridge, looked like a rabbit in headlights!

That was me. Afternoon. What a fine one it was for a few laps of the park. Actual sunshine and blue sky for a change. I'll blame that for my inability to spot you. Dazzled by the light or some such bollocks. Did see the bloke on the white frame a few times though.

Actually have now just recollected another possible fixie skidder spotting, did you have a messenger bag?

  • I was with another colleague who was also dressed up in company kit, she had the brevet jersey on, riding a black Parlee.

  • Was almost like this all over again, but not sure the rider shared the same name as me.

No shared moniker I'm afraid. I'll keep the "rides like a god" bit though if you don't mind. Even if it isn't true.

  • Which god? Shiva? Or perhaps Perses would be more appropriate? Either way, a fucking menace.
