£650?
-
• #3
Too Much? Am I being as unrealistic as I suspect?
-

Put pictures up

I think so. You'd do better listing what parts there are, what condition the frame is in etc and uploading a picture!
People will give you a value pretty quickly once they have some more details.Guessing on the condition of it and stuff I'd say that £650 for a SS Crosscheck is probably pushing it by a few hundred.

I suspect you're right. Let's see if this pic works, and I'll list the parts later.

Back wheel is a monstrosity, peddles should be ashamed of themselves. Otherwise, in good shape and condition. Thoughts?
-

*Pedals. Apologies.
-
• #10
Humm... Generous £200/realistic £150 for the frame? What are those cranks?
-
• #11
Buggered if I know. I confess I just want rid of it really.
-
• #12
I would appreciate other people thoughts. I have spent the past few years on a Bellini, so confess this really isn't my sort of bike.
-
• #13
Sorry fourmylecircus but you're never gonna get £ 650 for that. Half that and you're on the right track.
-
• #14
Split it. CrossCheck frames in good nick are usually snapped up, if not here then on another forum.
Sell the remaining bits here.
It was way too big for you wasn't it?
-
• #15
Er, Howard, I think you might have mistaken me for Prince. Too big? Either way, I see little point in splitting it. It may as well just be taken as a complete bike and then whoever takes it can do with it as they wish. REVISION: £320 - which by my cack handed calculations is about £5 better than 50% lower than my original stupid price, cycle it away and I'll even throw in a fairly sturdy D-lock, and a cup of Yorkshire tea with biscuits on pick up.

• #16
Judging by the saddle position, yeah, too big.
-
• #17
Oh, it was a random gift I cycled home and abandoned. So, er, no.
-
• #18
No offence meant - crosschecks sizing is weird. Easy to get one a bit on the large side. Spilitting it could yield a quicker sale and a few more quids but agree its a pain.
Anyway price seems good now - hopefully someone will snap it up soon.

Will you post o/s?
-
• #20
No offence taken. Also, I'm not willing to post or send, no. I am willing to deliver it within reasonable distance of E10 (London) however, as long as the buyer is fairly sure they want it (i.e, I don't want to have to bring it home again).
-
• #21
I would give you 250 today!
-
• #22
Tempting tuerkelton, but I think letting it go for any less than £300, given I only posted it yesterday, would be a little rash.
-
• #23
Sod it. Anyone want this for £280?
-
• #24
AS STATED - PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £280. - I WILL EVEN THROW IN A RACK FOR THE BACK AND A FAIRLY STURDY D-LOCK. Pick up from E10 area, or can deliver to within a reasonable distance.

hey, would you post it to EU?
As stated, surly cross check for sale - 54cm frame, currently single speed but, of course, easily converted to a geared tourer / commuter as needed with little fuss. Nothing wrong with it, I just would rather have the cash. £650 ONO.
