Its weird, some Pista 165 cranksets go for £60-80 and others £150+ with no obvious correlation, maybe I'm missing something, like difference between record/super record?

60-80 is rare, 100 or do is more average. The more expensive ones are the ones with the shields on them - C Record. These are modern Record ones. I'm not sure what the actual difference is apart from age and markings.

It seems everyone wants to see more detailed pics before commiting, so I'll get them on sometime tomorrow. Cheers.

Some perhaps remember the Veloriders forum with chainset sale involving "light scuffing" on the crank arms that turned out to be significantly more than that, not that I am for a moment insinuating anything untoward in this offer for sale.
The other thing is that some of the photographs in the for sale threads would not look out of place in a fine art catalog and folk get used to that kind of detail and artistic quality. Your single snap was a bit small at 16K or so when I down loaded it for a closer look.
Looking forward to the big picture as it were !
Regards Allister

You can have them if you will pay the 11.50 extra to send them insured up to £100 abroad?
-
• #15
i've sent you a pm recently with an alternative solution but if you don't want to go that way, i'll pay the extra cost

HMA - Sounds fine. I can wait for you to see if your mate can take them, so long as you still commit to buy them if he can't.
SOLD then..
