light probably, i sometime put mine there if i got drops on. Stops and chance of your hand getting in front of it if you use the tops

probably angled down like that as it's a thicker point of the bar where the grips start even if it won't really work

I'm not saying that BLB rims are shit or carbon rims. Was just saying the rims marketed as the notorious 90s are the same ones you can get for much less money. This makes BLB charging the price they do for them pretty outrageous in all honesty

There is nothing wrong with carbon rear rims, do you have any first hand experience? If you are whip skidding them into a pot hole you might be in trouble, however the usual street riding won't do them any harm. It would be down to the individual as to how harsh they are on their wheels as to whether it wold be a good idea or not. Even dropping them off curbs shouldn't do them any harm, they advise against it for obvious reasons though.

EDIT: as a reference do you remember the Martyn Ashton video, he was really abusing those carbon wheels.
