I'd like to play too. I just don't understand the geographical divides, seems a shame to exclude some scenes but give others a big allocation. What if your team comprises players from different cities?

I don't think it's about geographical divides or exclusion; just a way to keep a lid on numbers without making it first-come-first-served. That's how it's been with our mini-invitationals anyway.

It seems to be first come first serve though. There's still more London teams interested and what about other cities. It's invitational so how are Manchester going to select the teams?

Speak to Neil about boundary lines, it's his baby, but I'd guess that as someone is going to get excluded due to the one court, why not north/south to start with? As he wrote above "If the format is deemed successful we will run a West versus East later in the year to include Bristol, Birmingham et al.." Could even pave the way for regional/city based leagues or summit if it's fun.
