• Right you lot, pay up!!

  • Also: you'll need an independent person i.e someone who isn't entered, and not connected to you, Pisstofski... Proper raffle tickets please, no random scraps of paper, could give an unfair advantage.

Maybe get Wally Happy to draw it if you can get everything sorted for tuesday - a fine old gent who probably would agree.

  • online random number generator?

  • Make Pistoffski ride a flying 200m and take the hundredths figure of his time.

  • Base it on a lottery draw. Would require a slightly boring (yet pretty simple) explanation of how to ensure each number has an even chance...

  • Ok then, had a few pms asking so here's how...
Wait for the first ball to be drawn (in original sequence, not post sorting) that is 10 or over - the second digit of that number is the first digit of your answer.
Then, the next ball to be drawn that is 9 or over in the draw - the second digit of that number is the second digit of your answer. If 9 is drawn, then it is take to be the same number as the first digit.
    (00 is 100)

  • OK, paid ...

I reckon the easiest for this is probably a raffle ticket draw by an independent person at a public event - Herne Hill would work very nicely if everything is sorted by Tuesday. Filmed and posted would be great.

The lottery balls idea has the advantage of being instantly checkable and clearly independent, but things like the requirement for '9 or over' for the second digit are not immediately intuitive - well, it took me a while to see the logic for it, though I think I get it now.

  • Also, the lottery result could possibly include no numbers over 10. Exceedingly unlikely (I think, no idea the actualy stsistics) but still possible.

True, true. In that case I reckon you roll over to the next draw instead.

  • Just ask a tramp to think of a number between 1 and 100, in exchange for a can of brew.

  • THAT IS A BEAUT!!!!!!!
    Good work all.

  • don't really care how you do the lottery thing, as long as i win :p

    Lolz

what if he gets confused, says "604" then throws up on Wally Happy's shoes?

  • Couldn't you just ditch a couple of numbers?

  • do we have a winner?

  • any news?

  • i'll get involved if any one drops out

  • I'm 100% certain I will win.

  • So am I. Or so I was told. Is this rigged?

  • Why not reduce the donation to the same ratio and just accept a 5 or 10 percent timewaster allowance? It's dragging on too long.

  • Chilllll Winston. Good things...

  • Hahaha you cnut, where else can I win a makino?!?!!?

Can't wait to add braze ons for cantis, mudguard and rack eyes, hub gears and put a nice chain guard on it. And a fucking massive front rack I'll never carry anything in. And those German lesbian handlebars. And a kickstand.

nnnngggggg come oooon! Seriously tempted to hoover up whatever numbers haven't paid.

  • Why not make a video of the lottery sortition and post it on Youtube, so everyone can be sure there was an actual sortition and that it was a fair process ?

    Something like that :

The fixed 1985 NBA lottery - YouTube

It doesn'n need to be such a good video, as long as we see the 100 tickets with different names and the picking process.

What do you people think of this ?
