Yeah, I agree- as that is all it is, an HRM with an algorithm that (literally) guesses power based on changes in your heart rate.
Strava guesses based on weight/gradient/speed, so a slight difference there.
The main thing I want from it (and the DC Rainmaker review supports this) is a "reasonable" value for my TSS whilst riding a bike without power- such as my fixie-skidder.
It's an approximation, but it would appear, a reasonable one- and I'll use it in that light.
I've got the SRM for proper, accurate testing and so forth.
