Cyclist seriously injured in Hanchurch van collision
A cyclist has suffered serious head injuries in a collision with a van in Staffordshire.

The woman in her 50s collided with the vehicle on Drayton Road, Hanchurch, shortly before 09:55 GMT, police said.

She was taken to University Hospital of North Staffordshire where she remains in a critical condition.

Insp Michael Eyre said Drayton Road was closed for two hours after the incident to allow officers to examine the scene. An appeal for witnesses has been made.
