Vintage Trek home page has this to say about the road frames:
The Model 170, arguably Trek’s best steel racing frame, was available during the period 1983 to 1985. They were made with Reynolds 753 tubing. Among their users was the 7-11 Team. Many were made by master framebuilder Tim Issac. These bikes are highly sought after in spite of the use of the nontraditional socketed cast seat lug.
More about him here confirming his love for that seat lug pattern, so I'd guess the track special is quite likely one of his too.

Oh dear, makes me wonder what a "no!" would look like... Actually I'm a little scared.
There, there, don't be scared little boy.
^ considering the time and who is posting I'm largely leaning towards the idea that you're off your face
Nope, stone cold sober. The yes was a sigh of relief that someone here actually posted a mtb in the porn thread that is worthy.
If you are still confused see post 71463 and the discussion around it for clarification.

Current projects, names and faces, readers wives anti-porn. Any of these threads is where that thing belongs.
Saddle angle is jokes, other than that it's another completely average bike. I hope it rides well and suits is purpose!
