Hi All!
Newly joined and itching to start a 'please recommend' thread but know I must be good and abide by the nursery rules :)
Live in Southampton, daily commute (depending on which office I am at) of 11 mile round trip, 24 mile round trip, or a 35 mile round trip
Two rides - flat bar Giant road bike with guards, panniers, marathon plus tyres and all the trimmings which I used to love... now replaced with an old 2009 Kona Paddy Wagon new to me just before Christmas, rebuilt, and now the ride of choice
February/March I will be looking at replacing both with one bike that will do everything, got most of the small details chosen, but need some advice on hubs
Need to be standard 10mm axle, standard width f+r, sealed bearings, and capable of standing up to trail riding/light offroad and long distances, all with a load on rear panniers most of the time, and take a freewheel (flip/flop would be fine)
Any ideas?
And if anyone is up for singlespeed epic to the pyramids in summer 2015 now would be a good time for us to start talking :)

Hi all,
Joined today after seeing some posts about the old frame I've just bought. No doubt I'll be looking for some advice on how far to go with restoring/rebuilding it.
Cheers.

Hi everybody,
joined today to ask just one question (maybe more in the future, very likely that is...):
Could anyone of you sell me a Miche Competition or Miche Primato seat post in 27.2mm? I'm from Germany and looked some time before asking here. I'm currently working on a Cinelli that definitly deserves high end italian parts. It will not be fixed oder ss, but a true road bike. Hope anyone of you can help me!!! Please also show me if there is any better list to post this!
Other bikes of mine are a 1987 Peugeot Ventoux with a triple Stronglight delta layout, shifted with Suntour a3000; Nishiki Finisher Triathlon bike with Shimano RX100 layout. It's alright, maybe in the future it will get better components. Yeah, and there is a set of Dura Ace AX I am looking forward to attach to a frame I don't know yet what it will be.
I should of noticed that.
