That's a horrible situation, on one hand you hope that these allegations are true because if they are not it means there are people capable of making these horrendous claims falsely. On the other hand, you hope they are not true because it's a horrible thing to happen. No-one "wins" when these allegations are made.

I guess that probably would've been the better way to put my argument...
