I hardly ever freewheel though! They said it will only auto zero again after five crank revolutions, and only if 30 seconds have passed since the last auto zero, and if the torque value doesn't change for two seconds. Hopefully it won't introduce any errors for example when you're standing up and keeping your feet level or when leaning into a corner with your weight on the outside pedal.
I have one of the new ones with temperature compensation. Typically drifts 0-2 units during a ride if I leave the bike outside to cool down for a bit before I start. There were a couple of occasions where I worried about accuracy, as it was showing over 300 watts when I was going downhill :-s
