The reason I'm thinking P2M next is because they are now on iteration 2 of their design, and they adapted it in response to the issues identified by the "power meter community", and the upgrades are backwards compatible- the inference being that they'll continue to fix stuff, which is reassuring.
But, if you want a proven system then Saris or SRM are the only choices.
