I'm about to pull the trigger on a Kinesis T2 frame as a do-it-all bike that I can use for training all year round, bit of light touring and as a winter bike. Anyone else own one of these?
I was also after some advice about calliper choice with these frames - I think I'm going to be pairing it up with a Blackstorm fork from Ribble. I'm on a budget and they're 50-60 quid cheaper than the Kinesis carbon forks - bad/good idea? I'd like to continue to use my 2008 Chorus callipers, which have a reach of 49mm - this should be fine for the fork, but will it be enough to reach at the back including guards?
N.B - I will probably never use a tyre over 25mm, even in winter.
