If it took me less than 3 hours from opening the box to getting every last bit of bubble-wrap off I'd be surprised. Carefully unveiling the frame with delicate cuts to avoid scratches reminded me of when I used to perform autopsies on elephants for kicks. Best wrapping I've seen, and very much appreciated.
Barring a couple of nicks not worth getting my knickers in a twist about and the SLX decal all but giving up the fight, the frame could just about pass for NOS. Clear difference in weight/tube thickness compared to my Cromor Strada. The white is pearlescent, rather than matt like I thought.
Shame about the fully chromed fork, but all this was disclosed on the eBay advert. Most of the daubing will be hidden by the calliper and wheel, but the 'lining' is properly shite.
As for wheels, I've decided on the Shamals. Should collect those in the next week or so. They need a polish but that will give me something to do before I buy a BB and headset, which are next on the list. For now I can do no more.
