Got it from another forum from a trader who said it was his mates old bike and cratches are due to being hung in his garage and the "rubbing" from that. Not so convinced! Looks bad but there are no holes.Bit rusty but seems more like surface stuff. I tried the "push" test and thankfully the steel hasnt given way or bent. Rest of the frame seems fine and did initially want to respray it all but if i can save it by just retouching the bad areas, id rather that.
cheers for the link rive gauche. Just got off phone from them and say they can probably help. Have sent them photos and will wait on estimate.
