the Novatec hub is awesome, for the price it is a steal they are not good looking or fancy but they are well made and have quality bearings inside.
I've used Gran Compe, Campagnolo Pista, Dura Ace and Mavic, the ones that I like the most are the Campagnolos.
If you are going to wait I wouldn't go with Royce, sure they are stellar but I can't see how they are better than a Mack, I know they use Ti wich seems much more like a marketing thing than real life gains. Build a fixed/fixed superlight Mack pair with holes for aero spokes, that's what I would do.
