Got my Planet x track bike 4 weeks ago, and think you'll find they come with tubular tyres, and yep they do go down quickly
Fortunately mine weren't buckled and I've been to the intermediate thing at HH last few weeks and can confirm the bike is great, just my fitness holding it back right now
Only regret is not getting a drilled fork with it so I could use it on the road
