Really want to import a 2013 frameset from the USA but needs to be 'comfortable' enough to do 200 miles a week.
from my point of view comfort has more to do with the right choice of seatpost, saddle and fork

tried a blue but the colour was way off.
.
I like the black, blends in better with your wheels and bars. I want to get a black saddle and black cranks for mine, followed by some new wheels I reckon.
Toying with the idea of a front spok but I dont know if I'm 'cool' enough.

I had a spok, immediately regretted the decision... Don't get a spok...

haha how come?
I only know one person who actualy has one and I always forget to ask him how he's getting on with it. -

its just insanely heavy. i actually had a hard time keeping up with people when using it. doesnt make sense on such a light bike, my old hed3 was 200 times better
-
• #1257
hmm that is a fair point.
I have no chance of affording one any time soon anyway.

Fair enough ghost - all that matters! Although I can't help but think a bigger frame may have been what the doctor ordered?
-

nah Im 5,9 and its a 54cm frame so it should be pretty spot on sizewise.
The seatpost is in all fairness probably a bit too high but ive been riding a frame that was too big for me for the last two years so I guess im just adjusting to it.

cheers, yeah on my current bike [trek T1] i've made it comfier with a better seatpost, saddle and pads under the bar tape but it's still a very rough ride for my elbows, needs a new fork or a new frame..
All I need to do now is find a decent American Cinelli store that will ship one over. Why'd they make the grey/pink colour scheme USA only!!

U no like black?

Nah, plus I'm gonna get a 2013 black Saetta as my geared ride, can't have two black Cinellis in the fleet!!?!
-
• #1265
I love the black/yellow

It's just a bit close to the roadie I want to build & the pink/grey would look great with some hand built grey H plus Son TB14s & maybe pink hubs. Not ruled it out though...

Hurrah, wiggle are listing 2013 frames now!
I'm 5'9 and looking at a 54cm frame but not very good at understanding the geometry figures. Compared with my current track bike is this fractionally more relaxed?
Bikes: Cinelli vs T1
Head angle: 73 vs 74
Head tube length: 15 vs 14.1
TT actual: 53.7 vs 54
TT effective: 54.5 vs 53.6
BB drop: 5.8 vs 5
Chainstay: 39.2 vs 38.6
Wheelbase: 96.6 vs 95.1
-
• #1268
You didn't show the seat angle.
the geo look normal, I'd hardly says that's relaxed, and fork offset is another contributing factor.
-
• #1269
In fact, you will have lengthier effective tt, so will stretch out further with the same length stem
0,9cm further to be precise... -

Where (in the US that is) can you find this model/color ?
-
• #1271
I do 200+ miles a week on my Mash and it's fine.

• #1272
Shit sorry, I was replying to what was quoted, not the post. My bad.

Thanks y'all for the advice, I'll try and get some more stats up, might have to consider a small frame if it's 1cm longer than my current bike, gonna wait for a LBS to stock some.

I've not looked yet, as far as I can tell from google it is a USA only paint scheme but can't find any USA stores listing 2013 stock yet...

Yeah I guess we're gonna have to wait.
Fortunately I have friends who live in the US. It will be pricier but, god do I love this paint job.
I just sent off a jpg image to some signmaker online. £10 for 4 copys of the logo, tried a blue but the colour was way off.
Painting over the c was easy enough, just sanded it down and sprayed. It doesn't look that pro but I was going to get the whole thing resprayed at some point, never got round to it though.
