• Apparently these 'aren't allowed to sit behind a chair in the living room anymore', so I'm getting rid.

    1. Denon AVR-1907

Excellent condition, with remote. Silver, and all the details are here
    http://www.denon.co.uk/uk/Product/Pages/Product-Detail.aspx?Catid=HomeTheatre&SubId=AVReceivers&ProductId=AVR1907

£50 Available again, no contact from Hazzus and I need the money unfortunately.

    1. Pioneer XC L7 CD/Radio with two speakers and a sub.
I think the CD player might be a bit sketchy on this, I haven't used it for a while. The radio works perfectly, as does the Aux input.
      This one http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/pioneer_xc_l7xcl.html

It looks cool and is perfect for a bedroom, kitchen or shed provided you don't mind listening to an ipod through it or using the radio.
    £10

    1. Daboda HMC 1 (later rebranded Rapsody N35).
This is a media streamer that'll read files off your network disks (NAS type thing or your hard drive) and output in anything up to 1080i. Outputs are component and DVI for HD, also optical output for audio and normal Video/Audio SD outputs.
      It'll read most file formats.
ALSO, it works as a network drive with an internal drive, allowing you to save directly to it (I used to use it for torrents) for backups or a shared music library.
Takes IDE drives so up to 500GB I think. There's a 60GB one in there now that you can have.
Original power supply is lost, but there's a bodged one included that does the job.
Boxed and with the manual (battery cover for remote is missing though, unfortunately).
      **
Please note, this doesn't work well with Macs (post Leopard, anyway). On Windows you need to download a bit of software to make the drive show up in explorer, OSX stopped supporting it a while ago.**
      £25

    2. Freeview with HDD recorder. Scart output.
From Maplin, takes IDE drives as well. Works fine, can schedule recording from the tv guide.
      Not freeview HD.
Unfortunately it's missing the hard drive cover, but it doesn't matter unless you're planning to carry it about the house with you.
      With remote, no drive included.

    £20

    1. Safecom HDD enclosure. Two firewire (the big type) output and USB 2.0.
      £8

    2. 19" 1440x900 TFT monitor. Decent, no dead pixels as far as I'm aware.
      VGA input only (no HDMI/DVI)

    £20

    Cheers,

Pickup in Forest Hill or I can bring lighter stuff up to central from Monday.

  • Forgot 6.

  • Out.

  • does the freeview still record without the drive? I'm assuming not, but these things confuse me...

  • It doesn't, but drives are cheap! Tomo187 might not want the drive, and 60GB is enough for the freeview box (I used to have it in there).

  • Third? Dibs on Denon.

  • Denon has probably gone I'm afraid guys.
Tomo187 is probably out on the media streamer so it's still up for sale.
Please note though: at the moment, until they update the software, this will NOT work properly with macs later than Leopard. I tried it today with mountain lion and the software for mounting the drive on the network doesn't work.
It may work as a media streamer, but as a network drive it just doesn't.

    Ta.

  • Price drops, Denon available again (have PM'd diable).

  • Will take Denon if available. PM me. I'm local.

  • Just waiting to hear back from Diable, then Dooks then I'll be in touch!

  • Ha! Dammit. Third is lame.

  • Hi, is the monitor still available?

  • Denon available again. Works fine. Just not quite what I needed in the end. Yours for £30 to get rid. PM me for collection only. SE11 (Oval).

  • Dooks- I'll have the Denon if still available

  • 2nd dibs on the Denon

  • Ha ha, that freaked me right out seeing it on the page there. Rest is still available by the way.

  • Haha, sorry mate. You don't mind me re-bumping the thread do you? Denon was fine but I fear my wee speakers weren't really suited.

jamiejay was first with PM, fresh ideas second dibs. Oh shit. I got that the wrong way round. Ettiquette? Looks like freshideas was a few hours ahead. Sorry dude, I'm going ro give first dibs back to freshideas, with jamiejay second. Seems only fair.

    PMing you both again now.

  • No problem at all. If it means I sell a couple of the other bits then I'm very supportive.

Shame the amp didn't work out for you!

  • dibs Denon AVR-1907 if it's still available.
