For Sale: Brooks B15 Swallow Titanium Saddle (Black)

Hi hi hi.

Given to me by someone who thought he was too heavy for it. He rode it about twice. Its not really my style so has just been on my shelf for the last year. Pretty much in perfect condition. Comes with original brooks box (a bit tatty now).

£100 ono (includes £5 to forum). Pick up south or central london. Can post.

This saddle pretty much had it. The adjusting nut is nearly all gone. Doubt very much that it has been ridden only a couple of times.

Bit harsh, but certainly been well ridden by the looks of that adjuster. Need someone skinny to give it a lot more life. Fatties beware!

So, this is still going if anyone is interested. I got quite a few pms regarding the above points - adjusting nut etc etc. So, as I said, i've ridden it 'about twice', but it was given to me as 'hardly ridden' - certainly looks in good nick.

As for the bolt, i can't yet vouch for that much as I know I had a fiddle with it when I first got it but didn't know what I was doing which is probably why it is where it is. If anyone has any advice on this then would be much appreciated. I think i'm going to drop it in to BLB or Tokyo for them to have a look at when I next have chance and get a pro opinion - I could do with shifting this but don't want to sell anyone anything thats not right.

That nut is forever down the tensioner. Have a tens of thousands miles 83' Professional that's 1/3 of that distance.

Yo, yeah its still available. The nut thing is an issue, it shouldn't be there & was my mistake when I first was given it to move it down. Basically according to Tokyo Fixed it should have a new leather bit / top, whatever you call it, stretched on.

Really a shame but I just didn't know what I was doing when I got it back then. Anyway, the rails are titanuim so are worth a few bob as they are. I'm open to offers else in the meantime i'll get in touch with Brooks and see how much a refurb would cost..

Due to buying from a wanker on this forum.....i had to send the saddle a Ti Swift...and though they repaired it.....did it for free.....wonderful company...they told me for a Swift and i doubt a Swallow would be much difference....a new leather top would cost about £54...worth sending it back to Brooks.
