Did not do much with it this WE, only put some wheels on to have a feel of the geometry, whatever bar and stem combo I had already set-up in the shed and a saddle to sit on it in my living room...
I also wirebrushed some areas to assess the extent of the rust and to try to read the serial number... Appart from the 8 and the 4, everything is pretty much unreadable... I think the rust damage is only an issue cosmetically, looking thru the BB shel, the inside of the tubes look very good / clean. Of course a very carefull inspection is due after sandblasting...
So far I like the project. And that seat clamp detail! OOh! Mama! Love it!
