I use no soap, shampoo, deodorant etc. I haven't done for about three years, and since then my skin is 100 times healthier, and clean (skin and hair look after themselves pretty well if you don't wash away all the stuff which is supposed to be there). I wash in the shower, using warm (not hot) water, once or twice a day.
As a bike mechanic, I occasionally have to wash my hands with swarfega, which I hate. It really dries them out.
I spend a lot of time on boats, living at sea. I wash by swimming, and use a cup full of fresh water to rinse the salt off. This is the healthiest and cleanest I ever feel.
