Moving from an SRM with a wiring harness to an SRM without has convinced me that wireless is much more convenient.
Probably not a view I'd have agreed with without trying it, however.
But- just attaching the components where you think they should go and it working is much better than working out your cable management between each point, applying U channel stickers, zip ties, cable wrap and electrical tape.
Although in this instance it's a bit pointless as you have to power both mechs from the single, large, battery pack.
