Tourney: Downham Christmas Spectacular - Sat 2012/12/22

As long promised, there will be a Christmas tournament, at Downham (pending checking the state of the court), on the Saturday before Christmas.

As we've had loads of unusual formats for tournaments recently, this will be a standard 3 vs 3 tournament.

Note, this is not a serious tournament, but basically an excuse for a piss-up, So we don't want to see the same old teams turn up. Get into the sharing and caring Christmas spirit, and play with people you've never played with before.

There will be prizes for:

• best fancy dress (it's optional, so I expect only Ed to turn up in fancy dress, in a reindeer costume)
  
• the most retro Downham player (think no pads, brakeless fixed, hammers for mallets)

Format will be decided by the number of teams, but something that's not too intensive, allows lots of time for drinking, and is fun.

Secret Santa. Bring a small present, and you will receive one from someone else.

Anyone is welcome to play, but as a warning for those coming from afar, if it starts raining, I'm going to the pub.
