I only PubTran to work if a heavy night on the sauce is planned.... (which lets be fair is basically the entire end half of December).
PT used to involved paying for a train from Peckham to Lon Bridge and a tube from there to Old St... That meant getting to/from work was the daily cap of £8.80. Not cheap.
Now it's a delightful £2.80 all the way from home to work. Hooray!
And you get a seat, and enough time to settle in with a decent book.
Life changing.
