Currently on a splurge on the parts to build up my impending black Bob Jackson arrival...Most of it's sorted (Black frame, gold writing, and the rest of the parts in anything loosely relating silver/chrome/etc....A road well trodden perhaps yet still fun for a novice like me....
Stuck on bartape/saddle/brake hood setups. Any places that accumulate a shitload of old bike photo's all in one place so I can mercilessly copy/take inspiration from another bike?
I'll probably be heading for a Brooks Honey saddle n tape, though what does one do to the brake hoods in such a scenario? Full White hasn't been outruled at this stage, though 'Uncle Bob' (full thread to come in builds once he gets here) is no European Rouabiax vet, more of a dignified English workhorse that happens to look quite handy if pushed...
Is this sort of thing in Debretts?
