Hi,
I am new to this Forum and to the whole fixed scene, I wondered if I can get some recommendations on a frame for myself - mostly be street use but will want to track it occasionally. Im thinking Leader 725 or a cinelli mash? Any suggestions?
many thanks

Are those reflectors UCI legal now? Had a few problems with them at Manchester earlier this year.

Legal???
A legal requirement more likely... -

make sure you use michelin tyres
-

Yes. Coloured ones or even CX ones are best

That saddle position on the blue thingy definitely isn't UCI legal.

I bought the Planet X track bike, it seems a great deal. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet though. Obviously the weather has played a part in that, also the fact that 1. both the wheels are buckled 2.The tyres go flat within two days.
The answer to No. 1 was to take it to a local bike shop and pay for them to sort it....
No.2- Been trying to ring them for two days.
They delivered the items I've bought very quickly, which was great and pre-sale service seemed excellent. I hope this is just a blip due to the christmas rush.

2012 Moda Forte's also seem to be a bargain at Winstanley's and Evans at the moment.

Have they got latex tubes? These naturally seep air and lose quite a lot of pressure over a couple of days.

Especially given they come with the american classic track wheels which are very nice/light.

Yes that are, I spoke with them and they confirmed what you have said. Thank you.

'sactly.
The Pre-Cursa is very good value, can easily pick one up for £400. The Track Champ has a stiffer frame but some reported seat-post tightening issues and I know people who dislike the stem geometry of the stock Track Champ. I haven't ridden the Tifosi CK10 but I've always been very impressed with the quality of their road frames, so I imagine it will be a good buy also. I'd go for the Tifosi over the Cinelli, good bike but you pay for the cinelli name.
