• In. Anybody else?

  • Out. Still at home sitting down.

  • I'm in Bruce. And I owe you a pint!

  • Will be passing by lateish, if any of you are still around.

  • I'm in Bruce. And I owe you a pint!

You'll have to wait to buy Jim that pint. And I'm worried about the first half of that post.

  • ^ Of course, if I'd be ahem 'intruding', I'll just cycle on by ...

  • I'm working out in feltham, probably till seven, maybe later, don't expect me until half eight nineish..

Bruce, if still there we will talk christmas shenanigans..

  • I'm in Bruce.

    I thought I hadn't seen you in a while!

  • I'm in, Bruce.

  • So Christmas drinks were discussed. Next Monday, but probably not at the C&H. Corny has asked me to see what's possible at the Cambria, which I will be doing tonight. No, that wasn't my suggestion.

Oh, and next Monday is a certain retreating reflexologist's bday...

  • What's going on with the souths venue now? Sorry can't be arsed to thread sieve although did glance back over a couple of pages but it still seems to be on a Monday at the Coach & Horses is this correctamungo? Ta.

  • C&H is still the regular dive. Cambria has been mooted for Monday pre-Christmas drinks, however, and they are cool with reserving us some space.

  • I am being really lazy as I could just look this up but is it easy to get from the Cambria to Denmark Hill or Peckham Rye on public transport?

I might drag a non-cycling friend along if I can find a non-complex way of getting her there.

  • You can walk to Denmark Hill fam, about 5 mins

  • The Cambria is about five minutes walk from Denmark Hill station if the park is still open. Since the park closes at 4:15pm at this time of year, that turns it into a 10 minute walk since you have to take the long route around. However, the westbound 35 and 345 both stop just a few meters past Cambria Road, which, as you might guess, leads straight to the Cambria. 345 from Peckham sounds like a win.

  • Awesome. She will almost certainly get lost but it will be a good introduction to London for her.

edit: ooo I think the 345 stops outside her flat. cheers!

  • OK, so that makes at least me, you and your friend at Souths Christmas Drinks at the Cambria.

    Maybe this needs a thread.

  • I don't get it, do we then move onto the C&H on the same night?

  • Why would we do that? Oh, did the phrase pre-Christmas Drinks cause confusion? Sorry, just Christmas Drinks. Not planning an aperitif at the Cambria, now.

  • Sounds good to me. Food's cheap at Cambria right?

  • oh ffs. you guys are worse than SEs.

  • Cool, I'll likely come, but for me it's pre-Kwanzaa drinks. Respect my right to choose!

  • Rosie: no, not an argument about which pub, just talking at cross-purposes.

  • Last South's before Christmas drinks on the 17th at the Cambria,
Bruce reserve a table for ten, and we'll take it from there...

for those who haven't been down in a while get thee shit together and show your face.
