  • In a typical tale of the London League, last night's game was well-fought and in contention up until the final minutes. A tribute to the overall improvement of all players and the benefits of playing consistently with a team.
Last night we saw the Crack Badgers "hosting" Dark & Stormy at the dubious and poopious Mitch. A lengthy advantage surely in the *Badgers' favor in a tale of two halves. Despite many shouts of "No! Slow it down!" by Adam, the *Badgers attacked hard and often, but llaying patient, calm polo Dark & Stormy laid down some solid d, squashing numerous sure goals and stringing together passes for beautiful goals on the other end. Dark & Stormy up by 2 going into the half. In the second half, a lot more of those missed shots by the *Badgers became goals and a small Dark & Stormy squad got caught in a few mentally-fatigued situations giving the *Badgers a quick 11-7 lead. Dark & Stormy fought hard, but unfortunately the Badgers dipped into their crack supply of reserves and kept them at bay. 13-10 *Badgers at the whistle.
