The chainstay rendition is the real winner. I'm not totally convinced I'll get a 4.8" knobbly in (Surly Lou). But the crank arm, and heel clearance looks good. Plus it looks like the chain will clear the tyre in all 10 gears. TBH I dont want to feck it up trying to fit tyres I dont really need.
The relatively short wheelbase, and tiny headtube, means theres not much space for the fork crown to clear the DT. The hope is that my lefty bumper (fitted just above the bottom clamp) will strike the down tube, and not the crown, should the forks spin.
I have to say each time I get an update, another concern disapears. I'm being constantly impressed by the folks at Triton.
Recieved a load of pics of the tacked front triangle last night. The rear end will hopefully be started this week. The BB shell is a beast :)
