He's the one you'd take home to your parents.
I'm the one you'd cross the road to avoid on a dark night in the sleet. But inside... We're the same person.

Due to boring shit involving the flat I was buying falling through, a brief panic to avoid homelessness and a last-minute change of plan to spend Christmas in Norfolk I'll be taking a swerve on this. Shame. It was fun last year. Enjoy yourselves and make the most of those empty streets. X

When did we last have a white Christmas?
Christmas 2010 was the last white Christmas. It was extremely unusual, as not only was there was snow on the ground at 83% of stations - the highest amount ever recorded - but snow or sleet also fell at 19% of stations.
We also had a white Christmas in 2009, 13% of stations recorded snow or sleet falling, and 57% reported snow on the ground. -

Ha! How'd he take to it?
-

First trip was quiet residential roads and he stayed lying down. Stopped on Kew Green and he did not rush to get out. Played fetch for a few minutes and then got him back in again. While the trailer is not moving he keeps poking his head through the velcro fastenings. Once moving he just lay down still.
He was a little out of breath after the second ride when we took in Kew Bridge and a couple of big junctions, but there was not a noise or a whimper. I can imagine its a bit nerve wracking to be at nearly ground level with cars and lorries around. So I kept talking to him and he stayed in place.
