  • I'm sure the framebuilder can fill the ding

  • Piss poor phone photo... cleaned it all up and ready to rattle can... still trying to work out what to do fork wise.

  • Chris, do ya need parts for that? I haz.

  • To be fair, I have everything I need... might be interested in a track stem for another bike if you have one going spare...

  • Cinelli 2a? :)

  • Yeah, what we talking captain...

  • I haz..

  • Parts for that frame must be special

  • I have a Raleigh frame to do something like that, i will call it it the Game Bike

  • Ha, do you have any pics or your own self congratulating thread yet? What year is your Raleigh? I have a 73 track I plan on restoring after this...

  • Just for curiosity, how are you planning to fill the dents? With Plastic Padding or similar compound?

  • Chris: here.

  • Not sure how I will fill the dents yet but something like that I'd guess... want ot do it myself rather than have someone else do it... that's the whole vibe of the project.

  • still trying to work out what to do fork wise.

What happened to the original plan ?

  • Back on track... Started stripping the girls ready for re weld.

  • Forks have gone in for tightening... excitement growing.
"I'll make them so the tyre touched the crown, then I'll file a little bit off..."
    BOSH!

  • Really like the look of this frame,, cant wait to see the finished ride

  • Ha, cheers dude, road though... and not flat crown... so close, again!

  • no worries man... didnt think they would be right but thought it worth a punt.

  • So, the forks are back and perfectly balanced with 20's (Thanks Ted! - a true craftsman, and also mentioned that he hadn't built the forks originally, so another lie from BLB, or just crossed wires somewhere?).
Just a bit more cleaning up to do and then I'm off to buy the paint.

  • Looking good Chris!

  • Cheers!
Cleaned the forks up more as spraying revealed a few bumps... wish it was bright ad dry so I could crack on with the frame (and get non shit grainy photos from my iPhone)

  • Looking good, nice work on the forks, that has tightened everything up.
